Continental Utility Solutions, Inc. (CUSI) , a national leader in utility management software and technology services, is currently seeking a Data Conversion Specialist in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver with technical experience. The position will be responsible for all aspects of data extraction, database scripting, and conversion
testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promptly gather information to determine methods for data extraction from a variety of database structures.
- Efficient conversion of extracted data to standard CUSI database structures.
- Project planning, analysis, client communication, and process improvement
- Project definition, scoping/sizing, analysis of technical alternatives
- Ensure that data conversions are completed in the most well-organized manner, to the highest standards in an individual and/or team environment
- Serve as a liaison between the commercial team, technical team, third party contractors clients, and management
- Develop and maintain current technical awareness and sophistication
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated ability to be produced independently and/or as a team member
- Exceptionally strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience with requirements gathering techniques
- Proven track record in the area of data conversion
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL
- Minimum 3 years of technical contribution and conversion delivery experience
- Professional image and demeanor with the ability to present oneself in an efficient and confident manner
- Bachelors Degree
